1920s day marks home's official opening

The Belmont, run by Sanders Senior Living, marked its official opening with a 1920s-themed grand launch.

The opening of a new care home was celebrated with a 1920s-themed grand launch, complete with car show and jazz music.

The Belmont, in Worcester, is set over three floors and has a cocktail bar, private dining area, bistro restaurant, cinema room, spa suite and hairdressing salon. On 26 March, the team celebrated its official opening with a classic car show, live jazz band, tours and an official ribbon cutting.

Customer relations manager at The Belmont, Tommy Fellows, says: “It was a joy to welcome so many wonderful people from the Worcester community to our beautiful new home The Belmont, the newest home in the Sanders Senior Living collection. Thank you, team, for all your hard work in making our grand launch event a reality. Not to forget all our classic car owners and the talented jazz musicians.”

The Belmont home manager, Sandie Preece, adds: “It was heart-warming to see everyone at our grand launch having the loveliest time. Finally being able to show off our home and all it has to offer at such a fantastic event was a moment the team and I have looked forward to for months. To see Heather, our first resident, and the mayor of Worcester cutting the ribbon was a surreal experience. You could really feel the excitement in the air throughout the day. This is just the beginning, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for The Belmont.”

In February, the home welcomed its first resident, Heather.

The Belmont is run by Sanders Senior Living.
