A Cwmbran care home hosts an eggstatic Easter
Thistle Court Care Home hosted a fun Easter event for residents, their relatives and the local Cwmbran community
In the run-up to Easter, Thistle Court Care Home in Cwmbran, hosted a fun event for its residents, their relatives and the local community.Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed the company of the Easter Bunny, in the form of home manager Sarah Butfield, who brought smiles to everyone’s face. In addition, there was a raffle and tombola offering exciting prizes, including a meal for two generously donated by Little Steak Hut Newport, two wax melts by She Makes, and 3D prints by Bald Man 3D Prints, while a delectable array of baked goods at the cake stand greatly added to the indulgence of the day.
Adding further to the excitement, guests had the opportunity to participate in a range of entertaining games such as Guess the Name of the Bunny, Hook the Duck, an egg and spoon race, and children’s lucky dip, while DJ Tamara Rogers kept the atmosphere lively with DJ lights and speakers.
Fresh from her appearance as the Easter Bunny, Sarah Butfield shared: “We were delighted to host this event and it was heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate Easter.”
