A celebration of skill

The end of last year saw the launch of the Care Home Catering Awards 2024, which are designed to reward those who have shown imagination and dedication when producing meals for residents, while at the same time, inspiring and supporting colleagues to be the best that they can be. Accordingly, we invited everyone working within the UK care catering sector to nominate those they considered worthy of special recognition for both their skills and their capacity to use them for the good of care home residents. 

And what a response we received!

Both the quantity and quality of the nominations received for this year’s Awards left the judges with a very difficult dilemma – there was so much choice in every single category!  But finally, after much head scratching, lots of coffee drinking and the odd argument or two, we finally selected five nominees in each of the five categories. The names of the winners will be announced at this year's Care Home Catering Forum, which will take place at Farmers & Fletchers Hall in London's Barbican on 5th June.
